everything just hit me. I’m getting married in 4 months and 19 days. That’s 20 weeks. Holy crap. My chest got really tight in nervous excitement and my eyes started welling up, for all the right reasons. I think the sun being out for the first time in a long time brought it on.
I’m SO excited!! And it’s really hard to contain it at work! I have a lot to do but I’m not worried about it, the major stuff is covered and the details are just that, details.
Our wedding day is going to be so much fun!! At 30 guests we’re keeping it small and having it at a lovely bed and breakfast. It’s going to be an all day event. Some of the things going on:
- A lot of lawn games, including volleyball.
- Swimming in the private lake with slide and tower deck for jumping and pool for cooling off
Thanks for letting me be excited!

Sounds almost like the wedding we are planning. But instead of 30, we will have about 150 people in a backyard. We wanted it really casual and relaxed. We’ll be doing lots of lawn games as well. I want to do a big jenga game but FH hasn’t signed on for that. Haha. but we’ll be having corn hole, ladder ball, volleyball, etc. I can’t believe its coming up so soon. So much left to do…haha

@Leelee26: My friend got married at a place with a pool and it was SO FUN to go for a swim after we danced our asses off and were just dripping in sweat.
I’m getting married the day before you, it’s starting to hit me as well! I cannot wait to be my husband’s wife!!!

@Leelee26: hello date twin:) 20 weeks!! That’s so awesome to think about. I feel like time has flown since we got emgaged in 11/11 and I feel like this time is just going to zip by:) love your idea for a reception with all those activities! That sounds like a total blast!

Yep, those are all the games we’re planning. My Fiance also hasn’t signed on for the big jenga either, he says it sounds dangerous. We’ll see lol!
I’m glad to hear of a reception with swimming! (and it being fun!). It’s definitely not traditional but neither are we!
Time has really flown by since we got engaged late January of this year! We dated for almost years so we wanted a short engagement. I would go nuts if I had more than a year to wait, more power to you! So excited!!
