Seriously serious, you can definitely pull it off in 4 months, as long as you don’t get your procrastination on and have good time management skills.

Also a little help from your partner/family, wedding party (if you are having one) or friends who are keen could help you to divide and conquer.

good luck 🙂

I think you can do it! I’m also a student and my wedding is in July. We were engaged July 09, so I definitely felt like this day would NEVER come! I cannot believe how quick it’s coming up. Smile

Yay for posting this!!! 4 months? I didn’t realize how soon this is, YAY!!!!!!!!

I still need to:
– Ask Future Mother-In-Law about the menu (she’s catering, not really worried about it)
– Talk to friend of the family who will be doing our flowers!!!
– Meet & choose a baker/cake
– Decide on mens attire (have an idea just need to get it done and ok it w/ SO)
– Wedding night hotel room
– Decide on Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts
– Send STD’s
– Decide on hair and make-up
– GET my dress in & alter is… grrr
– Deal with all legal documents

I just used your list and went from there. I can’t think of anything else to do 🙂 I’m so excited though! Good luck. No stress!

February has gone by so fast!  I can’t believe how soon it really is either!  I have quite a few tasks to accomplish as well and really- my jaw dropped when I saw this post… this month went by SO FAST!

Our wedding is July 30, so technically I have the whole month…. but still to do:

-GET FLORIST/DECIDE TO DIY (may have a *free* vendor looking to build portfolio)

I’m really just trying to finalize my ideas so I can get moving on projects before my final internship begins (Mar-Jun).. I have been shopping at craft stores, splurged on some nice papers and cutting tools, it’s just all about getting past the indecisiveness at this point!  The Know has a nice checklist that you can organize by different categories like timeline, part of day..

Can’t wait til July!!!!

I am a day before you and outside of the ketubah items I am at the same place.  We changed our caterer since the old one forgot we made an arrangement so we now have to meet with a new guy. My Fiance was suppose to be dealing with the invitations which he is yet to give me a draft of and I wanted them out by March 1st.  Trying not to freek out and my MOH(my sister) is being no help.  But es it is enough time…I hope.

I probably have just as much. FH is probably going to take care of a lot of this stuff in May/June while I’m abroad (really should have done that last summer or something)

Editing your list to fit me:

I still need to:
– Finalize menu (FH)
– Decide on a florist and flowers and whether to just DIY or not.
– Make favors (week of)
– Have BM’s order their dresses (one is saying she doesn’t want to start shopping until after Spring Break, so another 2 weeks!)
– Decide on mens attire
– Decide on rehearsal date, time and subsoquent dinner location and time (deciding next weekend, hopefully on dinner location)
– Wedding night hotel room (FH has decided neither of our blocks are good enough!)
– Decide on Hotels/Condos for honeymoon
– Decide on Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts (picking some of these up in Guatemala)
– Decide and Order Invites, send them off to Future Mother-In-Law to address
– Find frames, pictures, biographies for table decor
– Decide on hair and make-up
– Buy undies and hold-ups for wedding
– Buy Honeymoon stuff
– Decide on a veil
– Deal with all legal documents & prep uni that I’m changing my name & references for Grad School
– Start collecting Grad school apps (which all seem to be due in September or October?!)
– Finalize ceremony order and readings
– Figure out if we’re hiring a trumpeter for the processional (would have been easier if I picked a percussian piece, I at least know them)
– Create DJ Playlist and Band Setlists (including the special songs, except first dance)
– Start learning choreography (has to weight until my light dancing only order is released, which won’t happen until Spring Break at the earliest)
-Figure out Video status
– Complete major gradution requirment (month-long Field School in Guatemala)

YAY! I’ve been engaged for 2 years and I finally decided the time is right last week. We chose a July date because I’m just ready to do this thang… plus I’ve been passivley planning forever. We just signed the contract with the venue and I still feel very calm even though I have LOTS to do. This must be the calm before the storm…

Yeah, my Fiance mentioned four months, and I was like…WHAT??  I counted on my fingers twice! lol

I started listing my to do’s and there are too many!!  I have to start making these final decisions.  There is still plenty of time, but wow, can’t believe it is four months.

@kperry3: yay date twin!!

I KNOW I can’t believe how fast time is flying!

My BMs have to order their dresses this week..I’m so stressed about this! Only one out of 5 has so far!

Here’s what I need to do still:

– Finish invitations (need to go out next month)

– finish dress alterations

– decide on menu

– have Future Mother-In-Law order the wine/beer

– Finish making pillow covers for decor

– LOTS of decor decisions…don’t even know where to start!

– Order favors

– Wedding night hotel room

– Finalize ceremony script

– Get Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts in order..half way done with them

– Finalize song list

– Book Groomsmen suits

– Decide on cake flavor

– I have like 10 people I still need addresses for…

I think that’s it for now…I’m going home this weekend to get a ton of this done. AHH I know it’ll be here before we know it!
