DH’s old neighbors (found out a year later that it was a frat sister and her then husband) were like that. He found that playing the Power Rangers theme song loudly works pretty wellWink

@beekiss: I’ve heard Ninja Turtles and Barnie also work. Good Luck!

This made me laugh! I lived below a couple in their mid sixties who were like that. They would yell things like spank me and give it to me harder. It would crack me up given their age. For Christmas I gave them handcuffs and a whip and luckily that embarrased them enough that they started blaring the tv to cover their “fun”. I was so afraid my 4 yr old would ask what was going on. What was I going to say?!!

I’d try the Power Rangers theme song or something equally annoying a few times… then I’d tattle to the apt. management

This solution I found from an article talking about the same problem:  Leave at their door a pack of cigarettes, a tape recording of their bumping and grinding, and a note saying that you enjoyed it just as much as they did.

Hahahahaha my older neighbor upstairs has random visitors once in a while… It’s so annoying but she’s old enought that they are in bed by 9 so I can just leave if it gets really bad.

I would leave a discreet note.

We had it happen to us, where we found out that a neighbor had heard us, since then we’ve made sure to have the TV going, put on some music or be super quiet. It’s common courtesy, I really wouldn’t want to hear the neighbors doing the same thing. So even though I was completely mortified and embarrassed, they obviously got their point across.

once people realize that others can hear them, they will stop.

@beekiss: Ha ha that is hilarious!

My Maid/Matron of Honor had that same issue and she would use her Iphone’s farting APP and play it loudly out the window. I think her idea was if they could hear the farting maybe they would figure she could hear their activities as well.

@Treejewel19:  that is hilarious!

I second the idea of turning on something really loud, TV, whatever and maybe they will catch on.
