I think there is nothing wrong with trying! You want to be 100 % confident in your choice and the logistics involved with your wedding 🙂

I say try it on, you need to know for sure that you have the best dress. You don’t want to always have that regret. I went ahead and tried the one I wanted, fell in love and I’m selling my first dress. I am 100% confident in my decision. It’s your special day and you want to be happy!

If you are not willing to purchase another one or exchange what you have, eat the cost, etc, don’t try it on. BUT if you’re willing to shell out the money BEFORE you go, then GO! I’d hate to know that you’re “stuck” with the one you have (I don’t mean to make it sound negative, honest!) but went anyway and fell in love. Best of luck– and let us know!!

Only try on the other dress if it is in your budget to buy a new one! Otherwise you’re just tourturing yourself.

Honestly, for a Destination Wedding – I can see why the Allure dress appeals to you with that flowy organza feel to it. Like a PP said, if you are willing to buy another dress and sell the first if you fall in love with it…go for it…! But if you don’t have the money to do that, don’t put yourself through trying it on and potentially falling in love with it. It won’t be worth it unless you are willing to do something about it!

I had a beach wedding and had a total princess ball gown!  lol  I personally like the dress you purchased better!  Go with it!  Just because you are having a Destination Wedding doesn’t mean you have to have a certain type of dress!!!!
