Dont open it!!!! dont you want to be at all surprised when he proposes with it? You said you are visiting right? You think he will be proposing while you are here in Canada? If so its not gonna be long.

I went to visit now FH and found a similar box. I wasn’t really waiting but I did automatically assume it was a ring. I didn’t look. After 2 weeks w/o a proposal I couldn’t take it anymore so I finally opened it. It was cufflinks. F-ing cufflinks!

I would open it but close my eyes to feel if it was a ring or some other jewelry but I am totally impressed that you restrained yourself—- I am completely hoping it is THE ring and you are wearing it before you go home!!!

OMG! I think I would have given myself a nose bleed resisting the urge to peek. Tongue out Just joking. This is so exciting though. Can’t wait to hear how he does it.

on the off chance that it’s cufflinks… my Fiance totally keeps his cufflinks from his grandfather in his underwear drawer… don’t open it! it will be dissapointing, and who wants that?

i’m sure he’s just waiting for the perfect moment ๐Ÿ™‚

That’s so exciting! (: I have no idea if I would open it if I was in your situation. Haha probably not.. but maybe ๐Ÿ˜‰ You have a lot of restraint!

I agree with Armychica06, I would close your eyes and fell it, then leave it alone. If you have to know and if it is going to drive you nuts not knowing that would be the best thing to do atleast if you feel no ring then you know.

Let us know what happens!!! but yea…. don’t open it! You want that moment to be special and it would be so much more special having not seen the ring before.

I’d to the closed-eyed feel, just to make sure that it’s not cuff links. If you feel a circle, close that box and hit up coffee with a friend, shop, do ANYTHING to get out of the house a bit. ๐Ÿ™‚

@armychica06: I’m totally going to do that if I ever come across any mysterious little boxes. I don’t know why it had never occurred to me. You’re brilliant

You totally win the restraint award. I cannot imagine being able to open it, eyes closed, and not peak, but it sounds like if anyone has the self control, it’s you, miss ranunculus!

Do NOT open it. You can’t undo it once you do…and it will ruin any surprise you have coming. You will regret it if you do!

Good liuck!!

I totally found the box before my Fiance proposed!  I was putting something in one of his bags right before we left on vacation and there it was!  It was SO HARD but I managed not to open the box.  I figured I’d been such a pill about waiting I owed it to him to let him see my face when I first saw the ring.

It was worth it.  ๐Ÿ™‚
