That dress is really cute! I wouldn’t look for something else. The way you described accessorizong those little girls, they’ll look wonderful. Take Mother-In-Law comments with a grain of salt and hold your chin up – its probably not personal, she just wants a dig.

I think it goes well with everything you have. Let that dress be worn! 🙂

I see nothing wrong with the dress. It might not be a “wow” like your Mother-In-Law said, but it’s not plain either, it has lots of interesting details….. does everything has to be a “wow”? Not really. They’re little girls for crying out loud, it’s not a”Toddlers and Tiaras” beauty pageant…. They are lovely and goes with the rest, don’t change them because ONE person doesn’t like them.

I think they’re cute! Don’t stress over her negative comments. Just smile and move on. You’re not asking her to wear the dress.

How pretty they are! If you love them, I see no reason you have to explain anything to her. Good choice!

I think that dress is adorable and very modern! I don’t see what the issue is with it at all. It seems to go well with the theme you have in mind. Just remember that you can’t possibly please everyone. Some folks will just always have something snarky to say, it seems.

I think that dress is really cute. I think it fits in with your overall look really well (I LOVE your Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses)!

@HueysLuda:  Yeah. It can be really tough dealing with negative people. This is especially true when they are negative about your wedding. Sorry you have to put up with that! I have a few people like that in my family but I don’t see or speak with them very often (thank goodness). I’m lucky to have a very supportive Future Mother-In-Law. VERY lucky considering the stories I have seen on these boards. You’ll show her though once you have a beautiful and successful wedding! 🙂

The dresses are really cute, and fit perfectly with the other two.

Can you keep your plans to yourself, if Future Mother-In-Law is so critical of things? I can’t imagine dealing with that-ugh!
