serotonin: He was actually pretty mellow about it when I finally told him yesterday. He said he had a feeling, but didn’t get too excited. The way our RE laid it out, he’d said we’d need to do a first beta, then if its good, we’ll see how the second one goes, then we’ll have to see about the u/s. So DH saw it as hurdles to get over and was worried about getting too excitied too fast. My mom on the other hand was screaming with joy. I’d wanted to wait until later to tell her. I actually had a plan to tell both set of parents at once with a u/s picture since the in laws are flying in next month… but I had to tell my mom cause I have to do a family thing tomorrow and there are some superstitions they have so I had to double check about going tomorrow while pregnant. I wish I’d told her in person now I could have seen that reaction! 🙁

Soon2bmrs1: 🙂 Well… DH finally go home testerday after his flight was cancelled Wed! I left work before him yesterday though, and came home to a pile of dog poop on the rug. UGH! He got home just after me, so I actually welcomed him home with “wanna clean up this pile of dog shit” lol, and I was on the phone with the insurnace company. When I finally got off the call I was telling him about it and how I needed more meds.. and he asks why I need more meds, and I just tell him.. well, for this little bean here. We’re not really into grand gestures, and I was still super cautious too about getting too excited.
