This lady is crazy! She should have a notification on the etsy store that the return policy is different if that is what she wants to do.

I’m sorry but you are in the wrong here. It DOES clearly state in her shop policies that it is exchange/credit only. I have seen many stores that have multiple storefronts have different return/exchange policies based on which one they are selling from.

You’re not going to be happy with my answer but if you ordered from etsy then that explicit store policy applies. It sucks that they have 2 different policies but unfortunately I don’t think there’s much you can do. Is there a reason why you went down the etsy route rather than direct?

Dispute with the cc company and post negative feedback. This is just bad business and terrible customer service.

@minniemluv:  in australian law, you can only dispute if

A) you didn’t receive the item

B) the item was not as described / damaged

A change of mind is not grounds for a refund.

Not sure if those laws apply where you live but it’s just an fyi

Regardless of what you read, you ordered from Etsy.

 

Her etsy policies seem pretty clear.
