I was wondering…
Working on line has always been a bit of a mystery to me.
For the people who work on line:
- What is your position?
- What are your job duties?
- Is the work full or part time?
- Is it a career or just something you do for now?

I don’t know if you are asking about any specific job, but I’m here to share my (brief) opinion, although my job is very specfic (and simple) and I don’t know if this will help you. (I hope so!)
I started to work as an audiovisual translator for a Spanish company last October. My position is, basically, that of translator. My duty is, basically, to translate a documentry or series by a duet date as accurate as possible. It’s a free-time position, I don’t have a schedule, and I’m the one who manages her times. I know I have to deliver a translation by Friday and I can decide to work a little every day or a lot the day before the delivery. So, the faster (and more) you work, the higher you are paid. (I’m paid on a translated-archive basis). And this is want I plan to do with my life, maybe with other companies but I think it is the perfect job to be able to earn a little “ME”-money while, at the same time, been able to see my FI (who has a crazy schedule).
