Hooray!!! I know you work with a lot of family at your day job … do you think they’ll be supportive of the move when you tell them? Hopefully they don’t take it personally!

@iarebridezilla:  I was wondering the same!

Go for it, Nona! Nothing like loving what you do and doing what you love… it’ll also keep you in fabulous shape!

This is AWESOME! Congratulations on making this decision. I have been pondering a career change for myself, but just haven’t had the courage to venture out on my own….yet. Please keep us posted on all of the details. Again, congratulations to you and all the best of luck 🙂

Congrats! I thought about becoming a pilates instructor once, but I found out that you actually have to do pilates to become one 😉 I’ve always been afriad to branch out and do something that takes time to break into the field, but finally I took the plunge, and I’m in the process of obtaining my real estate license. It’s not that unique, but people are always telling me I’m making a mistake because I won’t find a job, and if I do I probably won’t make much money in the first couple of years, but who cares!

@Nona99:  Yup, it’s is always up and down, but people will ALWAYS need somewhere to live! I just have to be smart about how I invest my time and money during certain times. I think being a pilates instructor would be such a cool job. You would get to work with so many different people. Have you considered if you want to do some sort of specialty? If I could actually do pilates or yoga I’d totally want to run classes for pregnant women!

That’s awesome!! I’m still waiting for the day when I’ll find something I’m passionate about :-/ And for it to be something that makes you buff in the process!? Amazing! Congrats and good luck!!

@Nona99:  That is such a good idea! I bet that you could really attract some potential clients at a bridal expo since no one really thinks about that.

@Nona99:  That is fanastic. I have yet to try pilates. How long did it take you before you saw results.
