    @anonymous2121:  I had super similar concerns to you when we were planning our wedding – we ended up doing them anyway, but here are my thoughts for you:

    1)  Have the photographer come only 30 minutes early, at that point most of you should be pretty much ready.  (not to mention, this should help with extra costs/extra hours of photography)

    2)  Stage the getting ready photos.  Also, let your photographer know that you’re uncomfortable with the idea of the half dressed / half makeup photos.  Get yourself to a point of the makeup where you’re comfortable with having photos taken, and the photographer can catch photos of you getting the “finished” look.
