I really like the second one. To me it’s more classic and my kind of style. I’m really not a fan of Halo’s

I like the solitaire. If you’re getting a diamond as big as the cz in the first pic (with halo) then I think DEF solitaire. The stone that big with the halo is overwhelming, In My Humble Opinion. If the halo itself were more delicate I might light it better.

I personally am not a fan of halos, so I voted for #2.  I also think the first one just overpowers your hand, and the second looks much more elegant.

I picked the second one, as I tend to perfer simpler, less “fussy” or detailed jewellery.

I like the 2nd one better.  I’m not really a fan of halos.

@Diamond84:  I still like the halo better, personally! I think the band is pretty thick on the channel style one so it’s not all that different from my comment regarding the pave style you posted. I think the thicker band doesn’t show off the diamond as much. That’s just my opinion, though, because I like dainty bands. If I had to choose between the channel and the pave of the ones you posted, I’d pick the pave because its more sparkly.

If you are second guessing the 1st ring then you need to look around some more and maybe the second is the better choice for you.  BUT I love halos so I love the 1st one.  However I could not vote because either ing you go with is stunning.

I love the first one, but think if the halo was elevated so a band could sit flush, it would be PERFECT.  While the second one’s pretty, I don’t love the triple pave band, plus it seems like it’ll be higher maintenance.

The first one is beautiful, but my coworker has a similar ring and it always kind of looks like a cocktail ring, IMO.  I think the second is gorgeous and you’re much less likely to get sick of it in a couple of years!

I picked 2 because I think the halo is so overwhelming and almost looks like a cocktail ring. But I would look for a thinner band than the solitaire you posted. A thinner band will make the diamond stand out more and would also be more comfortable with a wedding band (IMO).

They are both gorgeous so I think whatever you do you will have a beautiful ring–just my .02 about a thinner solitaire.

They’re both stunning. I just love the first one because it reminds me of the Tiffay Legacy which I love.  Except with the Legacy I think there is space for a wedding band to sit flush.

Personally, I don’t like halo stones unless you’re rocking like a 3ct+ stone. I feel like anything less makes it look like the halo is compensating for a small stone. Plus, halos are VERY trendy right now, so I’d go with something different. I like the 2nd ring.
