Do you walk with your feet really close together?  I don’t see how you could tear up jeans that quickly!

Mine haven’t ever ripped, but they do get really thin between the thighs.  I know my thighs rub together when I walk though, my thighs chafe when I wear skirts/dresses/etc because my legs rub together.

I do the same thing. I don’t know how to fix it though. 🙁

What kind of jeans do you buy?  I’ve never heard of that or had that happen.  I mostly wear Lucky Brand – you may want to try switching to a different brand.

maybe it’s just the way you walk? I have never heard of this happening…

I had this happen with a pair of jeans that I wore pretty much constantly… it seems to be kind of a high-stress area for the fabric depending on how they’re made and how you’re built. And it’s an impossible spot to patch! 🙁

Me too! I have had it with every pair of jeans I have owned, cheap and expensive. Too big or too tight. I have no idea why.

It happens to me but not after six months.  I probably have “big” thighs, but I happen to like ’em like that.  lol.  Maybe buy them a tiny bit bigger?

this always happens to me- not this quickly, but that is the only place my jeans wear out or rip. i have really thick thighs, so that’s why for me.  it is soo annoying though!

This happens to me but not that quickly.  But between my thighs is the primary place my jeans wear and I’m sure it is due to the fact the my thighs rub together.

OP, I find it a little disturbing that you think you could have extra fat when you are 5’9 and 140…

Anyhow, that just happens with jeans!  It is a bummer though, because then they are done :/  I try to find thicker fabrics or ones with stretch or both.  And maybe size up.
