I’ve had that happen with one pair of jeans, but they were really old when they finally ripped and were a cheaper brand. Most of my jeans do wear out in that area though, but usually don’t rip. Sorry I’m of no help 🙁

Yep. This happens to me all he time toO. Very annoying and one place you can’t patch. I think it’s just a hip alignment thing that some peoples thighs rub together no matter how thin they are.

Mine don’t rip in the thighs, they rip up the butt :'(

Mine rip on the thighs constantly, drive me insane. I am am not heavy at all (5’9″, 160lbs) but have thicker thighs, it has been an issue my whole life with pants. I have found that certain brands of jeans will last longer then others, the stretchier the fabric the faster they rip. Adding a patch to the inside of my jeans on each thigh before they rip seems to help prolong their life as well.
Lately I have been buying jeans that fit my thighs rather then I hips (usually a one size difference) and wear a belt, this seems to help big time as well. Overall though there just isn’t much we can do. For those from Canada, Bluenotes jeans are the worst, they rip in 2-3 months, Harlow jeans from the Boathouse are currently my favorite for price, comfort and longtime wear. Bootlegger jeans are good too but so overpriced.

I have the same issue, no idea how to fix it. I try not to wear the same jeans too many days in a row, but I doubt that helps much.
Mine pretty rarely actaully rip, but they get thin where my thighs touch, and when they get bad I get new ones. I don’t spend a lot on jeans though (forever21 is my fav for decent, well priced jeans). Old Navy jeans seem to hold up well, but I don’t love their fit.
No real advice, just joining the chorus saying it’s pretty normal if your thighs touch.
