If it is really that big a problem for you, put a dab of something very strong smelling right under your nose. Nurses and doctor do that in the ER. Something like metholatum or a eucalyptus balm will work.

Any drugstore would have either of those. Or just dab some vanilla above your top lip.

Believe me, ER nurses have to deal with a lot of undesireable smells.

I can’t support the use of room spray. People with asthma could be triggered into an attack.
