I think if something has taken over your life so much for the past few months or few years it’s bound to be hard to just let it go!

My mum is married almost 40 years and still loves to look at other peoples wedding pictures and gets super excited when someone in the family or circle of friends announces an engagement. When she calls me up the day after she’s been to a wedding she will sit describing the bridal outfits for what seems like an eternity! Well I’m letting my mum plan a heck of a lot For my wedding purely because I know she loves nothing more lol and she’s picked up a lot of tips and great ideas over the years. So yip I think it’s acceptable for all former brides to still have an interest in weddings no matter how long ago your wedding was πŸ™‚

@Bernie1407:  I got married 7 months ago and I still like seeing the weddings on here!

A few months ago Darling Husband asked why I was still on weddingbee but I explained there is a nesting section. Now if I am asking him too many questions he tells me to go ask the other bees!

@Bernie1407:  Me too, but I am still waiting on Pro Pics! I think I’m using other weddings to distract me from the fact that I don’t have mine yet! Also I’m in two more weddings this year and going to two more that I’m not in so it’s just wedding crazy this year!

Oh I am so in your shoes.  I still watch SYTTD and constantly look in windows of dress salons.. And I wear my bride tank tops all the time.  Technically we are still considered brides for 1 year! Smile

I really think that that phrase applies to me. I still love the bee, and anything wedding related for that matter.

Girl, I totally hear ya! I’m a year out and I’m still here, staring at everything. I’ve admitted to my BFF my “addiction” to weddingbee and all things weddings. She thinks I’m nuts! My husband just shakes his head… πŸ˜› Says that after planning our wedding, if my career doesn’t pan out I should just go into weddings. πŸ˜€

Did you ask your husband…”Why do you need to go to Home Depot? You have 5 screwdrivers in the garage!” I think men do a lot of shopping even though they have the exact same thing at home…

I don’t think I will stop being a bee because I marry…. I love it here!
