You should only need to see the surge once. Some people only have a window of a few hours where they will see a true positive.

My OPKs look positive (as in both lines are the same) for 2 days, and then I get a strong positive (test line darker than control line).  I test 2x a day during my FW just to see the progression and once I get a clear negative I stop testing.

I typically stop testing and start BD once I get the postitive OPK 🙂

If it’s a wondfo, I tested once everyday until I got a positive and then kept testing once a day until it went negative. After that I stopped. I wanted to see how long my surge was typically. Also, I BD’d for 3 days straight starting with the day of a first + opk to be sure and cover my bases. 😉
