Just wondering, when an OPK detects a surge, how often, or do you, retest using another OPK? Or is there mainly a few day window a month where this can be detected? My OPK detected a surge this morning. I’ve never used OPK’s before so I’m not familiar.
Thank you for any information.

You should only need to see the surge once. Some people only have a window of a few hours where they will see a true positive.

My OPKs look positive (as in both lines are the same) for 2 days, and then I get a strong positive (test line darker than control line). I test 2x a day during my FW just to see the progression and once I get a clear negative I stop testing.

If it’s a wondfo, I tested once everyday until I got a positive and then kept testing once a day until it went negative. After that I stopped. I wanted to see how long my surge was typically. Also, I BD’d for 3 days straight starting with the day of a first + opk to be sure and cover my bases. 😉
