So relieved for Boston, tonight. What a fantastic job by BPD.

This. And it was 4 murders, and 4 days of terror and uncertainty. So proud of the Boston PD.

Yeah, but that was created by the response, not the suspects. It seems like they sure knew how to blow it up into something 100X the size it originally was, and make sure Nobody Ever Forgets This.
Maybe that doesn’t scare you, but it scares me.

You don’t know anything about how scared I was, considering I have family in the area.
They didn’t fuck around, now they have them, one alive. Again, I’m proud.

So relieved it’s over and they captured him alive! Boston did a fantasic job and every other city in America should follow their example!

Several IEDs were discovered around the city today, not to mention the explosives that the suspects hurled out of their car towards law enforcement last night. They were just trying to keep people safe. Better safe than sorry.

While they were only successful in killing three people, I think it is apparent their intent was more than that. I don’t know why anyone would say this was taken more seriously than it deserved to be.

I think they handled this correctly. Keep your citizens safe and get the threat out of the city. Done and done.

They weren’t forced to stay inside, it was a voluntary shelter in place. The people were willing to cooperate with law enforcement for the good of themselves and finding the suspects. They didn’t just shut down the town for 3 murders, they shut it down because there were terrorists on the loose. More than understandable.

you’re blaming the need to shut down for safety on the police aNd not the suspects? If the suspects hadn’t done this then the city never would have done that. You don’t live in Boston, do you?

exactly. Her point is so frustrating and hurtful to those of us who endured it..
