@MrsWinTraining2014:  Why did you start this thread if you didn’t really want any opinions?!?

@MrsWinTraining2014:  Yeah, because I’m the only one here who has said I don’t like them.

There’s no point in asking what people think and then getting all upset when they disagree with you.

MrsWinTraining2014:  Personally, I would never wear those shoes and I would not want my BMs caught dead in them, especially at a formal wedding. BUT it is your wedding, not mine. It’s obvious you have already made up your mind and are just looking for reinforcement from other bees, which is fine, although you have to expect those who don’t like them to exercise their right to speak up as well. As long as your girls are happy with them, then do what you want.

Once the demands start, things rarely conclude well. So I’d buy the blasted shoes and if necessary superglue the bridesmaid’s feet into them.

Does that sound ridiculous? Well yes, but no more so than refusing to allow any choice and limiting the options so drastically.

MrsWinTraining2014:  I am going to be bland and honest here. That shoe is exteremly ugly, I would not wear it even if I get it for free.

Looks better than some shoes I have seen around.

I would never wear those shoes, even if someone else paid for them. I’d consider wearing them if someone paid me though..

And those lovely shoes are part of their “bridesmaid gifts!”

I feel sorry for them.  In more ways than one.
