@jilleeann:  My clothes are stored in those cube things with drawers (if that makes sense). I left one out while I was at work today, yep shitastic. Interesting story my dog also uses a litterbox…

@jilleeann:  My pups name is Penny and she is a PRINCESS! She acts like a cat it’s ridiculous! Oh no she is a little monster she loves to pull stunts like that all the time. Lol keep your laundry safe!

haha oh no!

It could just be because he could smell you on them and decided to mark his territory and reclaim them/you if that makes sense? So nice to hear that you can see the bright side though and it hasn’t made you hate him. 🙂

If a cat is suddenly using places other than the litter box, it could be a sign of a health issue. Urinary Tract Infections are the most common cause of this in both males and females.

If this is a common occurance, I’d have him checked out.

My cat did this once! I was packing to go somewhere and he totally peed in my open suitcase that was on the floor! He ended up having a problem with bladder crystals but that wasn’t until much later, I don’t think that’s why he used the suitcase. Either he was mad at me, or thought this new “box” was his.

@Hyperventilate:  I second this. OP- If you have had him for quite a while and this is a new thing for him to go outside his box… I would def get him checked out.

When we got a cat I immediately invested in three of these. I also use the ‘three bin sorting method’ lol

We had a cat at my ‘dads’ when we were kids so I knew they did this sometimes…and I wasn’t taking chances. They should come with warnings!!!

EDIT: Dear Wedding Bee – can we get an image sizing option? That … like… works?

@jilleeann:  My dog is 2 years and about 4 1/2 lbs it’s great! We really want another dog though maybe a german shepard but, I’m not sure if they would get a long!

One of my cats also does this very occasionally – it’s something about the smell of laundry and he wants to mark it. He’s altered and always has been… it’s a mystery to me. They’re mysterious little creatures.
