Have any of you had a small task holding you back from finishing one of those “big” items on your giant “to-do” checklist?
I wanted to send my invitations out early because I’m having a destination wedding and I wanted to give our guests plenty of time to save up for the flights and hotel (I didn’t want to do save the dates).
I have had the actual invitations/response cards addressed, stamped and ready to go for the over 4 weeks! They’ve been sitting on my dinning room table just waiting to be mailed out. What were they waiting for?? Oh, just a little insert that tells what hotels are in the area so our guests know where to stay. That little 3″x4″ piece of paper has been the hardest thing to finish, and thanks to the holidays, it took even longer.
But it’s all finally done and mailed out – I’m so excited! How’s everyone else doing?

Congratulations…My hold up on finishing my invitations is the RSVP card. Fiance and I have waffled back and forth on sit down and buffet. Thank goodness we meet with the venue this weekend and will make a FINAL decision.
WOW!! you have actually had them done for 4 weeks. I’ve only designed the layout. I need to print them and assemble.

@DeaconBride: Well, to be honest, I went through http://www.VistaPrint.com, and it made it a lot easier to get all the pieces together. They do a lot of the work for you, so I didn’t have to do anything by hand except for the addresses, and I only had about 25 invitations 🙂

Ahhhh! I just mailed mine out on Monday. It is so awesome to check that off my list and it totally feels more real now that people are saying they are coming! No turning back now!
