- Wedding: June 2013
I know this will sound silly, and I know that others *have* to feel the same way, but it makes me kinda sad when I don’t get any responses on a post. That being said, I apologize for the second posting of this same topic, but I would really like some feedback. I love this board and I love that you all are just as excited about wedding planning as me!
I am utterly in love with this dress.
It’s so pretty!
I found it on pinterest, and have reverse image searched it on google. It comes up as a Louise Selby dress, but I don’t see it on their site, and therefore, can’t find the name/model of the dress. I’ve scoured google, pinterest, etc. I sent an inquiry to the Louise Selby website, and even contacted someone who featured it on their blog quite a whilte ago. No responses yet.
I love the flowy bottom, the simple bodice, and what I believe to be a bolero of sorts. *So* gorgeous!
I am looking for something that doesn’t feel too over-the-top (my husband and I are already married and are having a celebration with friends and family a little over a year and a half later), and I want something that shows off my figure (though, admittedly, this dress wouldn’t *really* do that) and I also love flowy skirts, and think lace is lovely, but in small-ish amounts (this is perfect because the bolero is removeable.
Lastly, the feel of our party will be “dreamy”. You can see some inspriation below . I feel that this dress is dreamy, to say the least.
I may change my mind again, and will likely go dress shopping again, but I am debating over looking into having this dress made (the designer is based out of England, doesn’t seem to have shops in the US, and this dress seems to be from her 2010-2011 collection. I still can’t find the name of the dress! Jasmine’s Bridal. Dressilyme. A local (NYC) seamstress.
Thoughts on the dress? Similar dresses that I’m not aware of? Yay? Nay?
