@Tarheelgurl: ooh exciting! The mister and I aren’t spending Christmas together so I’m not expecting a proposal this year but I’m still excited for Christmas. I got my nieces some pretty awesome gifts so I’m looking forward to seeing their reactions when they open them. Hopefully your Christmas is amazing! 😀

Ooo!  That’s exciting =)  I hope everything goes well.

This is our first married Christmas.  Last year we got engaged on Christmas and it was AWESOME!

Sending good luck vibes your way, bee! Also expecting a proposal…this weekend! Ring is ready to go. I have been a nervous wreck, but so excited. 🙂

@Tarheelgurl:  I think he knows I would love it…so it would be expected. He also doesn’t sound enthused about us having the party at our house. Every year for the past 5 years one of our friends has hosted the NYE house party. Last year’s was really Whack because the host had just broken up with his girl (cause she was pestering for a ring and it scared him off! WARNING!). So this year we are the one’s who have the space and the lack of children to have a kickass party.

My SO claims he may have to work New Years Day so he doesn’t want to host a party if he has to work early in the morning (understandable), but I am crossing my fingers that he doesn’t.

On the 4th of July the thought came to me that our roof would be the perfect place if he wanted to propose. It is intimate but hopefully our friends will be there…We have a 360 view of new york from Coney Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens all the way to the Whitestone bridge.

Perfect place to get engaged.

Here’s hoping.
