Ok, I just found out my cousin is pregnant. She will be due in April and my wedding is March 23. I have no problem with her being in my wedding, but I wondering if anyone else had to find dresses for a pregnant bridesmaid. I let my girls pick their own dress, but it has to be navy blue. If anyone has a website or somewhere that has affordable dresses, please help! thank you!

I will be a pregnant bridesmaid in November about 1.5 months before my due date. We ordered a dress that has a maternity option. A number of designers make them. Ours is BariJay, but Dessy makes some and I’m sure lots others do too.

DH’s sister became preggers before our wedding… she was 6 months at our wedding… I let all the girls pick their own dresses and she had already gotten hers… she gave it to her sister (also a BM) and had Mother-In-Law sew her one… it was a bit nerve wracking since Mother-In-Law is such a procrastinator… she was up the night before the wedding finishing the dress and DH’s tie (Sewn from material removed from my dress)… GAH!!!
But it worked out well

My SIL was 8.5 months pregnant at my wedding and she was one of my bridesmaids. My girls picked their own dresses (in either blue or teal) as well. She found hers through Motherhood Maternity and it was on sale for only $20.

My Maid/Matron of Honor is pregnant too. Corset backs on the dress can do wonders for a growing tummy! Our seamstress also said that they do a “baby pleat” on the front to make it look better too!

@ckneat: One of my bridesmaids was about 6.5 months pregnant, and David’s Bridal just let out the sides of her dress and sewed in some extra material to make an extra little panel for her. Now I’m pregnant and in a wedding as well, and DB also even allowed me to push back my fitting for an extra month later than everyone else just because I’m prego. They were super helpful!

Motherhood maternity is awesome because they have bellies you can try on with stuff. Like they have an 8 months belly you can try on. It’s not exact because people have different size bellies but it gives you an idea. That might be a good place to start. A lot of bridal shops have maternity options too
