We have two recommended hotels for our March wedding. One of them has already filled up (luckily it is more than 3/4 our family, as we’ve been encouraging people to book early!) Now we’re getting ready to order invitations with details for the big day. Should we still include that hotel under accomodations? Obviously my first thought is no, do not suggest a hotel with no vacancy. However, we’re offering a shuttle to the ceremony from that hotel and it seems odd to list it in the shuttle schedule but not as an option for accomodations. Is it off-putting to list our two hotels, but note that one is full?

I just don’t think it makes any sense to recommend a hotel you know people can’t book. It just comes across as a big waste of time.

zzar45 : Thanks for the input! So you don’t think it would be unclear to list “Shuttle to arrive at ____ Hotel at 3:45pm” without an explanation of why it isn’t listed as an option?

downsetgox342 : Yeah, don’t list it.
Are you having a wedding website? You could explain that there will be a shuttle from the full hotel to the ceremony, so others can meet up and use that shuttle (assuming the other hotels are close).
If you’re not having a website, I still wouldn’t list it. Figure out another way to explain to guests the shuttle situation
