This morning I downloaded the “my fitness pal” app to my phone… then I went and bought 2 dozen donuts to bring to work in celebration of my birthday. I’ve had 2 of those.. oops! But hey, I’ll start up after my birthday ๐

howtobeawife: haha you sound like me! I love the app, works great and keeps you on track except when the donuts are around -_-

howtobeawife: Just because you had a small setback, doesn’t mean you have to go the whole mile back. Two donuts are as two donuts do. You can always walk a few extra stairs, or do some HIIT cardio later.

Just make up for it for the rest of the day! No reason why you can’t have dessert on your birthday ๐

howtobeawife: I’m on MFP, it’s such a slap in the face sometimes!!
Take a Zumba class. You’ll burn the donuts off in an hour.
Happy birthday!!

howtobeawife: Happy birthday! I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having a couple of donuts to celebrate! You can always make up for it later. ๐ And MFP is such a wake up call!

Lol first of all, MFP allows you cheat days. And you know what? You can totally have those donuts any day of the week so long as you count them.
But most importantly it’s your birthday! Go crazy and have fun for one day!

Birthdays definitely don’t count!! Happy Birthday!
My trainer just made me get this app… apparently I don’t eat enough… but the big mac I’m about to eat seems like more than enough for lunch… Hmm…

Happy Birthday!!
I found that to be successful in weight-loss, you’ve got to allow yourself a splurge every now and then. Otherwise, you keep craving and craving until you go all-out binge-mode and that never ends up going well (I’m talking about *you*, cheesy-fry incident).

howtobeawife: hahaha That hillarious, i did the exact same thing today! Downloaded MFP, then a co-worker forgot her lunch and theres no way I could make her go through the drive-thru unaccompanied! Oh well, I’ll eat healthy the rest of the day and tomorrow is a new day ๐
Happy Birthday!

Two small glazed donuts would be <400 calories. That’s certainly not a long-term diet-ruiner!
