Dress shopping has been a great experience for me, but I think I’ve come to a decision making point. The first picture is the first dress that I’ve tried on in the begining of my dress hunting. I got the chills, I got the water works, and knew it was the one. However, being my first dress I still wanted to look at others to have something to compare it to.
Ater quite a few other stores and dresses, I was uncessfull at finding anything else that I loved as much as the first one. Until I tried on this bad mama jama. Funny enough, I decided early on that this would be the last store that I would go to, and if I didnt find anything, I would go back and purchase the primary dress. Once in the store i’ve tried on a total of 5 gowns, and didnt find anything to my liking. I was ready to leave empty handed, until my sales associate told me to try this last one. It just took my breath away… It gave me goose bumps, tears, and heart palpitation.
With all these emotions, you would think its a no brainer right bee? wrong… One is practical, the other is a bit over budget, but still doable, and I can always sell it after the wedding right?
Which one you think I should go with Bee?

To be honest, I really love the second one. Maybe it’s because I’ve seen the first one a lot lately. I love Allure (they designed my dress as well), but I just love the second one! It is very timeless.

Oh sweetheart… It’s dress 2! Don’t even question it. That’s your dress.

I think they are both beautiful. They are similar too: sweetheart neck, belted waist, and textured bottom. I thought wow when I saw #2, but I think that is because you look happier in the picture. Either way I don’t think you could go wrong.

They look so, so, so similar. Honestly, i’d go with the cheaper one. Yes, you can sell it after the wedding, but you’re going to be lucky to get 50% back, if that. I’d go with the more practical one – they are both sweetheart dresses with jeweled belts and similar detailing. Your guests would never be able to tell a difference, so i’d go with the cheaper one.

I love the first dress on you, and I think it is the more beautiful and elegant of the two.
ETA: For what it’s worth, I just showed the pics to Darling Husband, and he picked the first one, too! P.S. I almost always love the most expensive gowns, because I tend to have extremely expensive taste. However, when I look at these two pics, I truly think the first gown is much more beautiful. I’m sure the Lazaro is the more expensive of the two you’re considering; however, I just do not like it nearly as much as this particular Allure gown.

@Brielle: I agree – I love the first one on you!

Have you thought about trying to find the 2nd dress second hand? If the price difference isn’t that huge you could probably find it within your budget. Either way you should get the second one, it’s clearly the one you love!
