hopefully i’m just getting mine out of the way early?
i bought the most amazing wedding band ever. EVER. i searched high and low and i found exactly what i want and under budget to boot.
and i just got this email:
We had your ring being sized and unfortunately the jeweler damaged the piece. We are working with our master jeweler now to see if we can get the ring fixed. In the meantime, we understand that there may be a possibility that the ring may not be salvaged, therefore we would like to know if you like any other ring on our site and we can apply the monies or maybe you rather have your money refunded until we can determine the ring can be repaired properly.

Oh no!! I have my fingers crossed for you that the ring is salvageable! If not did you buy it from a chain? Maybe another store in the country has it and they can ship it to your local store?

@littlemissmoo: it’s an antique. probably not another one, well, anywhere.
here’s hoping they can fix it!!

Oh, that is a major bummer! So sorry that happened. I hope they can fix it. But, if this is the worst thing that happens throughout the process, that would be great!

@bakerysensei:Oh no!! In that case definitely crossing my fingers hard for you!

Oh no, that’s awful! Maybe it’s better to find out now than later, when the whole piece could’ve broken right off your hand!!!! At least they got a master working on it
Maybe if they can’t fix it…surely they can recreate it? Molds, etc, custom style? Surely. It’ll be a pain, but you’re entitled to an exact replacement.
