I love symmetry also, but when it comes to wedding sets, I have to have symmetry from side to side, but not top to bottom.

There certainly are some beautiful sets that, with two bands, are symmetrical vertically as well as horizontally. I can think of one person I know in particular whose set I absolutely love. However, I prefer many others — such as yours and my own — when the e-ring is not hemmed in on the top by another band.

@yellow15rose:  i’m surprised that it is still 50-50 basically!! i think i lean so strongly toward the 1 band because i also have an e-ring with curves in the shaft. (that sounds dirty…teehee)

its a seriously stunning ring you’ve got!

@yellow15rose:  Hi! I came across your rings, and I was just wondering if you could tell me where your engagement ring setting is from? I really like the design! 🙂

I like the two bands, but think the one band compliments your ering better. I agree with @September29  that the two bands takes away from the gorgeous uniqueness of your ering band.

I love the symmetry of two bands. Your bands match your ering really well

It is really a beautiful ring either way.  I am all about symmetry (sometimes it is my downfall) so I love the two bands just wee bit more.  Gorgeous ering though!

I have the same issue. I went with 1 wedding band and am getting a second band custom designed (same as wedding band but with rubies added) as an eternity ring but to commemorate the birth of our daughter.

I say go for 1 ring now, and you can always get the second as an anniversary band at a later date.
