So it’s confirmed! I am one of the most indecisive brides ever. And the dress is now on eBay with some interest! So once it’s gone I can delete the photos and focus on the new dress and my dress search again! Not to mention the £££ will come in handy!
Afyet seeing the dress again In person last weekend I’m a million% sure it’s going!
Grrrr to dress regret!

I loved the top but didn’t like the pick-ups on the bottom so with the alterations, it will be perfection!

Very princessy right now, any maybe a little more romantic once the pick-ups are gone. I think it’s gorgeous either way, though like you I’m not partial to pick-ups for myself.
ETA: Your last post sounds like how I was feeling before my wedding, where a sea of white kind of started to blur together and I wasn’t “in love” with my dress, but was apathetic to all the other dresses, too. But I think that was just overexposure to too many long, white dresses and I needed a break from looking. When I actually put on my dress on my wedding day, I felt beautiful.
Maybe instead of looking at other dresses, take a dress break for a while and don’t look at any wedding dresses, even the one you have. Then come back to it with fresh eyes and see how you feel.

I voted big fat gypsy wedding. Its just ALOT of dress! I don’t like the top with the sparkle sleeves – I would take that off completely and just have a simple sweetheart, strapless neckline.

@anemonie: aw thank you for your reply 🙂 I have done the going back with fresh eyes a few times and I think for my own sanity the best things is to sell the dress and move on 🙂 I think because its gone on so long I’m kind of sick of the dress! And now looking forward too hunting down the one I will wear on the day!

I think that all the bridal show experts are right when they tell brides, “Once you find a dress, STOP LOOKING.” All it does is make you crazy. Been there, done it and not doing it again. I found The One, I’m not looking at anything else for any reason from now on til after my feet hit the sand heading toward my man. Bought and sold 2 dresses driving myself nuts second guessing!

Gypsy Wedding. Get rid of the pick ups and it will be miles better 🙂

@Dawn1234: I think it looks princessey not and it will still look princessey when it’s altered. But I don’t think thst’s a bad thing. It’s a really pretty dress and if you can’t look (and feel) like a princess on your wedding day then when can you?
