Hello! I am wanting to purchase a replica dress, as my budget does not allow for anything extravagent. I want a lace dress. I know that is a sticky subject with dress replicators and that most people would tell me to not even try getting a lace dress replicated. What should I do? Who would do the best job with lace?
I’ve looked into Dressilyme and MillysBridal. What has been your experience with these vendors? What are some other vendors?
Thanks for your help in advance!
Also, this is my idea of a lace dress that I am talking about. No beading or anything, just straight lace:

Check out Jasmine Bridal. They have done amazing replicas and their custom service is fabulous. Lots of bees have gotten their dress from there. And their lace work is great. You can check them out on Facebook to see the work they have dwell as well.
Here’s a few of the other bee’s experiences…. Use the search function on the right to look for more.

I had bad experiences with buying a lace dress. No problem with the quality of the workmanship just the lace isn’t what I wanted. I ended up sending the lace I wanted used on the dress to the person. I would recommend asking for a photo of the lace they would use on the dress prior to committing to buy.

I had a lace dress custom made by a store in town. It was made in china but I was able to talk to someone local while designing it before we put in the order. I was lucky to pick out the lace in person as the store had a dress in stock with the exact lace I wanted. All I had to do was tell them the fabric I wanted and then give them pictures. It turned out great. The quality was fantastic and better than I imagined. I was more concerned with them getting all my specific details correct than craftsmanship.
It was the best decision I made!

Given the price of the original, I wouldn’t bother going down the china replica route. Like others before me have recommended, I’d go for a preowned wedding gown.
