I haven’t personally used them but I’ve heard good things about Catprint.

I used Catprint for my STD’s and I love them. I paid $40 for 70 STD printed on heavy linen card stock with rounded corners!

Their service is really excellent. They will send you free samples and a free hard copy proof before they finalize your order.

I chose to use catprint over vista print and 123print (which I have also heard great things about) because I found that they well less expensive and offered a greater variety of customization, like the rounded corners.

I plan to use them for my invites and programs, so I definitely recommend!

i used 123print for my save the dates and they turned out really nice.

i’m considering smartpress.com for printing my invites because i love the felt weave card stock option they have and their sample kit is impressive.  now i’m thinking about using a local printer.  still haven’t made up my mind yet.

i took a weddingchicks template, changed the colors and extracted what i wanted in illustrator and then put together an invite and four inserts in indesign.  i had to learn how to use illustrator and indesign in a weekend while working 70+ hours a week and trying to lose 30 pounds.  so far invites are designed, can find my way around adobe, and lost 22 of the 30 pounds.

We’re getting the most bang for our buck by designing our suite ourselves, buying the paper ourselves, and then taking both to a printer.  Sometimes printers will charge you more if they have to order the paper you want, and it’s not something they normally carry in stock or have a lot of.  If you don’t know of a local printer, ask some of your friends or relatives if they know (& trust) a local one, or ask your work where they get their printed materials (forms, etc.) from.

I just ordered mine through SmartPress – I got:

– 110 5×7 invitations (single sided)

– 110 reception cards (double sided w/ map on back)

– 110 RSVP postcards

– 40 rehearsal dinner invites

for $207 with shipping…

I haven’t received them yet but I’m very happy with the price! 🙂
