I did the Hypnobabies Home Study Course. I highly recommend it.

stella678 :  I didn’t really do any classes because I wanted to wing it lol. But I have two cousins who each recommended Hypnobabies as well as Spinning Babies.

There are also some great doula YouTube channels to check out. I watched a lot of NurseZabe videos. It’s a L&D nurse who has videos on all kinds of topics from unmedicated birth to epidurals to what to pack for the hospital.

I also recommend Hypnobabies. Spinninng Babies (either the paid videos or the many free resources) and Evidence-Based Birth (totally free) are also great.

Did you have your baby yet,

YouTube! I’m 38 weeks pregnant and I have learned SO MUCH by watching videos. Search stuff like breastfeeding tips, delivery vlog, labor and delivery options, newborn tips, etc. Just learn as much as you can, and it’s all free! Also join an evidence based breastfeeding FB group and an evidence based sleep group. Also listen to the Birth Hour podcast. So many amazing free resources. A lot of those paid courses are woo anyway, so be wary.

YouTube has lots of great stuff, but see if your local breastfeeding support groups have moved online. I know our local group (which I LOVED with my first) is doing Zoom meetings instead. You don’t get the same hands on support, but you can talk to a IBCLC and other mamas for advice/commiseration.

Check out the Positive Birth Company. They do online hypnobirthing and postpartum pack courses, as well as an antenatal and postnatal breastfeeding workshops on YouTube.

very cheap but excellent so far! I’m working my way through them all. They are UK based
