jeansaprincess:  I think you will be very dissapointed if you purchase one of these. There’s a reason why it’s soo cheap and that’s because the quality of the diamonds are not so good. It says that they are i1-i2 clarity and K-L color which is very low. For a diamond halo like this with good quality diamonds will be around $3000-$5000 give or take. If your wanting a larger ring without the price tag then I suggest looking into moissanite or amora gem. Or just getting a smaller better quality ring from a trusted vendor.

Agree with PP. Don’t buy something just because it is cheap. You’ll be compromising quality.

Look into diamond alternatives like moissanite and check out eBay for your setting. You could even look at etsy sellers but i doubt that you will find a good quality 1ct diamond for $1500, including the setting.

I’d say check out Etsy. There are plenty of reputable dealers on Etsy that make beautiful rings similar to what you’re looking for for great prices. Off the top of my head I’d say, SamNSue, Sundari Gems, Rosados Box & WinterFineJewelry..

I wouldn’t trust this listing. Typically a certified 1-1.5ct I1 diamond is going to set you back $3,000-$10,000 at least. I haven’t seen anything that large cheaper than that. Lower clarity diamonds are still pretty pricey. For example, a 2ct diamond (clear inclusions) I1 clarity, I saw In a store, was still $20K. Also, don’t buy a diamond without seeing it.

You will not find a quality diamond for that price.  Have you checked out moissanite rings?

Try Craigslist, pawn shops, and antique stores. You can find what you’re looking for without paying retail prices!!!

Unless it’s hidden somewhere, these listings don’t even state the cut, which is the most important C!

I was shopping for diamond earrings but I realised that at that price point, it’s way better to get moissanite. Moissy will look much nicer than low-quality diamonds. If you really want a diamond (which I understand, I prefer the look of diamonds) then look for pre-owned. There are many websites online where people sell engagement rings (IdonowIdon’t comes to mind).

I really like the style of these rings however I find that the fact that they are included to be troublesome.  One review even said that their ring was cloudy.  have you seen a K-L diamond?  The GIA K-M colored diaomnds happen to be my favorite, but they are not for everybody.  And If the color grading agency is not GIA there is a chance that the color will be even more yellow (and more included) than what you are expecting. If your diamond were a solitare It might not sparkle too much, but the halo setting will compensate for that.  Do your research ….I just built a ring on James allen in a halo style for $1790.  It was 0.5 CT center diamond, SI1 and K color but it had excellent polish, symetry and cut which ups the sparkel factor and faint florescence, which ups the whiteness of the diamond.  Be patient and wait for something that you will be happy with.

jeansaprincess:  I dont know much about clarity enhanced diamonds however if that is the case and they should be perfect  to the eye when you get them.  It is troublesome to me that customers say the ring they have is cloudy.

Here is a link to three diamonds that I would choose off the JA site.  Then you can choose the setting you like.
