OK so I may be addicted to online shopping. But there are worse addictions to have, right!?
I am currently desperately in need of summer clothes. What are your favorite go-to websites for ordering clothes? Please mention their return policies if you know anything about them.

I’m an avid online shopper. I mean, I even bought my wedding dresses online. Living in Beijing, my only options for cute clothes and accessories are basically Zara and the local clothing markets (which can be fun for cheap and cheerful buys and trendy accessories). But anything branded/designer is usually more than 2x the price you would pay overseas. Before Beijing, I was in Australia – and again the markup on designer goods is hefty, so I’ve been ordering stuff online for years! My favourites:
Net-a-porter (especially during sale time!)
Matches Fashion (packaging is to die for)
Asos for cheap thrills
BHLDN is my bridal weakness!
And of course you can’t beat Ebay for that past-season item you’re obsessively trying to track down…

i used to go to stores, try it on and make sure I like it, and then buy it online using promo codes i googled. i don’t like anyone else to “touch” my stuff (I’m really fun to grocery shop with)
now that Darling Husband and I live togther, he can obviously see when we get deliveries so that made me cut back a TON! Also, I got my fancy dresser I wanted and STILL had to buy plastic drawers to put in the walk in closet – and I have two tubs of storage clothes – so i KNOW i don’t need anymore stuff. I have a legit reason though, I’ve lived 12 years in Hawaii so I have an years worth of year round summer clothes and absouletly no winter clothes. Had to buy those when we moved!

For American ones, I use Gilt and Bluefly. They are both wonderful! Haven’t had to return anything yet, but had a bracelet from Bluefly that broke the first time I used it. They just refunded the money. Very helpful!

JCrew or Banana Republic are my two big sites. I’m a big fan of outlet shopping though, so I try to save up and do a big shopping trip every few months.

I haven’t heard of a bunch of these! I will have to give them a try! Thank you all!

I seem to do online shopping in waves, I will buy something, and then think of other things I need or want with that, or stem from that.
Ebay is probably my top place I go to, since I both buy and sell.

@cooperlove: It’s funny that you mention this – now that I live with my Fiance, I do not buy as much as I used to, except when around birthdays and Christmas. He really likes to know what I’ve purchased, which I don’t mind, but I don’t want him knowing if it’s a surprise. I bought my wedding dress online, had to have that shipped to work because of that – but I hate that our receptionist had to handle the big box!

I used to love shopping at LOFT online, but they have really dropped the ball lately. My last three orders have been 1) significantly delayed or 2) outright cancelled without notifying me. I have also had a hard time getting through to them as well. If they want to compete in the fast-paced online world, they need to step up their game.

@mrswestcoast: Oh man. I should not have seen this post. 🙂 So I used to be *cough*still am*cough* an online shopping fiend. - Alice & Olivia
- FORWARD by Elyse Walker

- Private: Gilt.com, Belle & Clive
- AllSaints, Spitalfields*
- Soft Surroundings (a grandma store but I LOVE the maxi skirts)
- Club Monaco*
- Karen Millen*
- Calypso St. Barth
- French Connection
- Yumi Kim
- Private: Hautelook, Ruelala, Ideeli, Billiondollarbabes
- Asos.com* (free shipping/returns to the US)
