So I want to order some Maxi dresses for my honeymoon in April – and being that it is frigid and frosty here in Canada for a while yet, there won’t be anything for me to choose from in stores before then. I have ordered from ASOS before and like them, but currently haven’t found anything I like. I’ve ordered from MODCLOTH before and like them, but their dresses are pricier especially once you add in shipping, and if it doesn’t fit, you have to pay for shipping again etc.
Currently I’ve found a couple dresses I like on Lulus.com.. and I like 6pm.com except they don’t ship to canada.
What sites do you like/use and are prices/shipping decent?

Tobi.com is pretty good, and my friend in Canada says it ships free and super fast.
Nordstrom.com is also killer and should have decent shipping to Canada.
Edited to add:
A Bee recently posted a dress from a website called princesspolly.com. I had never heard of it before, but went on and found a TON of great dresses.

I second Nordstrom. They have the best customer service I have ever dealt with. I also like 6pm, but they are very tricky. CS Dept is not always great. Zappos owns them, and though their prices are a bit higher, they are worth it for the free shipping both ways and CS (also lightning speed shipping, at least here). I online shop a LOT. I keep coming back to Nordies for things I need.
ETA: Revolve Clothing is my current favorite place to shop, but it’s mostly bc the clothes they have fit my body type really well. They have lots of gorgeous maxis, but a little on the pricier side.

I also think Nordstrom is pretty expensive but maybe try Nordstrom Rack. From what I’ve seen, the Rack prices tend to be about half the price of the regular Nordstrom ones on the same items.
I mostly shop at Forever 21, Old Navy and H&M. Old Navy is the only store whose pants fit me right away without needing to be cut as I’m uber short. Old Navy’s website literally ALWAYS has a sale on something – right now, all their jeans are on sale and their clearance is AMAZING. Half of my recent purchases I bought on clearance and here’s a tip for Old Navy’s physical stores – if an item is sold online only and it’s returned to a store, they HAVE to mark it down even if it’s in perfectly good condition (and then it’s placed in the clearance section). So if you see an orange return sticker, don’t assume it’s in some way defective – it could just have been returned. This is key if you’re petite or tall because those sections are online only. I got a lovely, new Petite blazer the other day for half price ($20) just because it had been returned and it was an online only item!
I also like eBay – you can find good stuff but you have to be careful and check the measurements carefully (you can message the sellers and ask them for them if they’re not originally listed). I love the clothes on Modcloth and Miss Patina but they’re mostly too expensive for me. I can only shop there during sales. Most of the other popular places like Express, Loft, Zara, etc are too pricey for me but there’s always clearance. Macy’s also has really great clearance prices but their online purchasing process can be a real pain if you’re not American. Also try Asos! A friend of mine shops from there and she loves it and they have a HUGE selection of stuff. I’ve heard good things about Sheinside from various fashion bloggers but I’ve never shopped there myself.

I love Nordstrom. Their returns/exchange policies are one of the best ones in the retail industry.
Other websites I use are Guess, BCBG, Bloomingdale’s, Zappos, and H&M.

YES to Nordstrom customer service. Whether it’s online or in-store, I’m always blown away. And their return policy is one of the best.

I shop on dailylook.com… but their shipping deal to canada is sort of crummy. Two of my friends in Canada liked a dress I had from dailylook so much they decided to order it themselves and split the shipping… One of the dresses had a stain on it, and then got lost in the mail when she tried to return it so she ended up without a dress. 🙁 Luckily there was a sale when she bought it so she was only out 30 bucks, but that’s still not nothing!
