I don’t think 130 is actually too bad for a veil with beading. However, I just ordered my single tier veil with a ribbon edge from http://occanseydesigns.com/ for only 50 bucks. I read great things about them on some older posts. My bridal shop was trying to charge me 500 for what seems to be the same veil!!

Good luck!

Just wanted to send an update. I got my veil from the site I mentioned above and it was absolutely perfect. I did not see one single difference in the one I bought and the one they tried to sell me at the bridal shop. They shipped it priority, I got it in no time.

I even had it rushed at no extra charge! What a great company!

I had a great experience with the Light In the Box website. Good prices, my veil arrived today (ordered about 2wks ago), and I am delighted with it. I’d recommend you check on there.

Veil prices at bridal shops are seriously bloated. They are easy to make – there is no reason to charge hundreds of dollars for a length of tulle and minimal labor. I can see a little more for something lacy or beaded – but still, not what they charge.
