I’m starting the beginning phases of planning my wedding and was looking for any feedback from the community on whether or not online planning/searching sites have worked.
I’ve heard of a few: TheKnot, Brides.com, WeddingWire.com, MyWedding.com, etc.
Has anyone used their planning tools or used the sites to find vendors? I want to manage my wedding but would like to do it all in one place – preferably not with a pencil and my spiral notebook!
Thanks in advance!

I have been engaged for almost a year now and am well into the process. The site I found that has the best planning tools is Weddingwire.com. It’s all online and is so easy to use–there is even a drag and drop seating chart!! Awesome! Best part is it’s all FREE! I think they just partnered with MarthaStewart.com, which is awesome.
Best of luck with your planning!

I recommend weddingwire, and I used momentville.com to create my wedding website. I don’t care for the set up at the knot though…
Just my 2 cents!

I only really ever use http://insideweddings.com/.
Other than weddingbee.com, I haven’t really gotten into wedding sites- the knot is rather low brow and rude and the rest are dead.

Unfortunately insideweddings and weddingbee don’t have exactly what i’m looking for in terms of organization. While they’re great in content and ideas, i’m looking for a site to manage my wedding.
I’ll definitely check out weddingwire, thanks again!
