Oh ya. St Anne’s in lovely.

You could also rent a cottage in Muskoka – very private!

DON’T go to Goderich! Even before the tornado it was pretty lame (imo)

Grand Bend and area is pretty fun. The Pinery Provincial Park is also quite stunning. I’m sure there are some cottages you can rent around there.

If you love wine Niagara on the lake is great! There are some pretty little Inns and there are a ton of Wineries close by!  You’re also really close to Niagara Falls if you’ll end up wanting a night out. They have a few really fun haunted houses as well!

If you have time, a night out in Toronto (home for me) would be fun too. We have fabulous restaurants, great live theatre, and a really lovely new Ballet house!

Do a search in Google for antique trips in Ontario. I’ve been on a couple but can’t remember where the best ones are right now (sorry).

Oh yes… Blue Mountain is GORGEOUS too!!!

I’ve never been to Algonquin but from what I hear it’s pretty amazing too.

How fun you!

the hubby and i are having a cottage country wedding out by notawasaga bay, around that area (especially in collingwood) there are such beautiful cottage rentals, bed and breakfasts and hotels.

We are outdoor lovers so we opted for a cottage rental off of the lake down the road from our venue.

i would suggest Niagara on the Lake or up north at the Couples Resort, or Lake Rosseau(i’ve had friends go and loved it)

You could also think of driving down to Michigan, and staying on lake Michigan…we went last summer, and it is GORGEOUS, and not too pricey. Plus you’d be going to another country so it would feel like even more of a getaway 🙂 Try looking at Saugatuck, that’s where we stayed and it’s really nice!
