We got married at The Manor by Peter and Paul’s in Kettleby, On and had the most amazing day. Everything was perfect and beautiful and we got so many compliments on the venue, the food, everything. They were amazing tow ork with and great on the day of. I HIGHLY recommend it to EVERYONE. You can get married indoors or outdoors and there is a little pond with swans as well. I LOVED it! Here is the website if you want! 🙂

@VallieC: Well some of my suggestions might push the 1.5 hour distance, but I promise they are gorgeous, some I’m not sure about the price though.
I’d suggest checking out some venues in and around Collingwood, it is just about 2 hrs north of Toronto. To get you started: Cranberry Resort and Blue Mountain as starting points.
I’m getting married in Southampton, there are a few venues in the area including a local museum, the beach, and some nice parks. I’m getting married at Sandy Lane Farm (the website doesn’t do the venue justice).
A PP mentioned the Niagara Region, I would second that suggestion, it is a gorgeous area with lots of non-banquet hall venue options including wineries, historic buidings and some neat outdoor venues. Check out Niagara Parks for some outdoor options.
Sorry I don’t have suggestions closer to the GTA, but I hope this helps

My sister works as the event manager at the JW Rosseau up in Muskoka, very nice place but maybe a bit far? http://www.therosseau.com/
Tralee is neat if you want something a little different… http://www.one99.ca/Web/Tralee/Tralee%20-%20About%20the%20Facility.htm
