@Purple_Bride:  I don’t have any idea for the signing the documents portion. Our pastor had our Maid/Matron of Honor and Bridesmaid or Best Man do that in the background while we were giving our parents flowers during the unity candle lighting.

Bouquet toss: Single Ladies by Beyonce, but it is VERY overdone I know. There was thread a few days ago (or maybe longer) that had a great song, but I can’t remember.

We did a garter “dance off” so a little differently. For the dance off we did “I Like Big Butts” and for the retrieval, which I didn’t want, the DJ picked the Mission Impossible theme, which was kind of cute.

Hopefully I gave you some possible ideas 🙂

We used “All the Pretty Girls” by Fun. for the bouquet toss, which I thought was cute because it says “All the pretty girls on a Saturday night” and it was Saturday.  But I’m also a nerd.

For the garter toss (and retrieval, we used the same song) we did “Jump Around” by House of Pain.  Silly, but fun.

I dont have any original songs for the garter/flower toss…. but for the ceremony (depending what your allowed to play?)

I had Ellie Gouldings “Your Song” for the signing, but our recessional song could work too…. Israel Kamakawiwio’s “somewhere over the rainbow”.

We got married in a church by a catholic priest and he let us play whatever we wanted (words or no words)….so if yours gives you flack just try to soften him up lol…. it IS their personal choice whether they let you play non churchy songs…its not an actual rule!

@Purple_Bride:  Thats awesome. I was so afraid we would have to do some choir lol…. not that there’s anything wrong with that, but my Darling Husband is sooooooooooooooooooo emotional when it comes to music so I wanted to get stuff with the right “feel”. I was so happy he was more “progressive” in that way.

I was actually going to possibly walk to that ellie goulding song but a friend of mine did already so I figured out another spot to use it. I loved the Over the rainbow song because its such a light happy song and a good pace for everyone to walk out to including the guests.

We used Move, Get Out The Way by Ludacris for the bouquet toss and Thunderstruck by AC/DC for the garter toss. my husband just liked the AC/DC song and thought it would be fun to play.
