@newname_99:  Our wedding is in Mexico, all inclusive resort too. This is what we’re putting in our:

  • Do not disturb hangers (i’ll be DIYing these)

  • Aspirin/ goody’s powder

  • bandaids (for girls shoes)

  • maps of the resort and area around

  • brochure of the area for shopping etc

  • sunscreen

  • chapstick

  • hand sanitizer

  • hand wipes

  • crosswords/ soduko books

  • specialty tea (by Fiance loves tea)

  • specialty local cookies (i love cookies 🙂 )

  • mini tequila bottles

I think tea would be cute since youre from england..

ETA: We’re also doing door hangars that will say “You can find me at _________”

Some people may not be able to use thier phones so people can leave these on thier doors and if someone goes to thier room to look for them they’ll know to go to the bar, pool or restaurant etc.

We’re not doing Out of Town bags at all due to the impracticality and price of them.

With AI resorts, they pretty much have everything you need provided in room or at the front dest. We will be however working with the resort to ensure there is a personalized welcome letter (with our room infor) and plate of goodies in each room (we had chocolate strawberries in our room when we visited the first time, and I’d love to replecate that).

For the resort we chose, this actually worked out to much less then putting together a bag of stuff that most travellers come already prepared with. Plus it ads a bit of class/romance to their arrival.
