For various reasons, we’re not blocking rooms (also not having reception in a hotel) and have given guests information on several different hotels at different price-points. Since a lot of the guests are mutual friends and/or family, we’ve also recommended they try renting private homes for the weekend, which some of them are doing.
SOOO…I’m guessing I should call people ahead of time and ask for where they are staying, then take the stuff around to different places? Seems like a lot of work…

Out of Town gifts aren’t necessary. We didn’t do them and no one noticed. If you want to do them though, I might suggest putting a line of the RSVP for people to put where they are staying.

Personally, I wouldn’t even bother with Out of Town gifts, especially in a case like that. However if you’ve already put the Out of Town gifts together, then you’ll want to delegate the deliveries to someone else. You don’t want to have any errands to run those last two days before the wedding, because you’ll be busy enough as it is.

Are you doing a welcome party or anything for out of town people? That would be a good time to give them out.

I agree – since you don’t have a block of rooms, there is no way that you can efficiently do this. You will be giving them wedding favors as a gift, so it’ll be fine.
