Just doing my background work. My first choice venue is a site that you hire off site catering for. One hitch is that if you serve alcohol it has to be open bar only- no cash at all. I was planning on doing a limited open bar (beer/wine/a signature cocktail) but no luck with this place. Any ideas on how to keep costs down while still having a decent selection?? The caterer is an “up for anything” type of caterer, so I’m sure anything can be accomodated… I was thinking one thing would be to see if I can provide at least my own bottled beer and have those bevereage tubs w/ice around…might cut back on a bartender and beer costs…
I just don’t want to get anything vetoed by SO right away because it “sounds” so expensive…
