yes-wearing stockings but there are special pantyhose that have open toes for sandals and peep toe shoes.

Tip- make sure you select the color carefully so your toes aren’t drastically different in color from the rest of your foot that is covered by the hose.

It’s set to be about 27 degrees celsius on my wedding day.  I’ll be bare legging it.

It’s a pet peeve of mine when I see women wearing footed-stockings with open toe shoes.  Just like Julies said, they make stockings intended for shoes like that.  I recommend getting those.  I plan to bare leg it.

my pet peeve is also seeing open toed shoes with panty hose.

Bare legging it!  Of course we are also getting married in Florida in June…I’d be crazy not to

If I were wearing open toed shoes, I would go without the stockings. 🙂 But I’m wearing close toed shoes. And probably stockings.

With the heat in Anaheim in June, I’ll definitely be bare-legging it.  But, before I went hardcore on my fitness kick, I contemplated wearing spanks…the ones that cover the tummy all the way down to the knee (I have a floor length dress, so spanks would not show).  If you want to suck anything in, Spanx is my favorite way to go, totally avoids @julies1949 & @whfields’ pet peeve of stockinged toes with open toe shoes.  (I’ve also been a big fan of the Spanx that starts right under the bra line & goes to the knees & has a corset like tummy-tucker)

Oh gosh, I can’t stand the look of stocking with open toe shoes, especially the ones with seams at the toe.  If you must do stockings, get the kind without toe seams.

I’m having a winter wedding and will be wearing closed-toe shoes, which I will be wearing with silk thigh-highs!

mine is in winter.. I do have open toe shoes, but I picked up some stockings especially for open toes. However I have sooo much fabric in my dress that I think ill be pretty warm as is without the stockings!

It also depends on the weather and locations… I mean, in a winter wedding you are going to need stockings no matter what.

I would need stockings even in a garden wedding in the South as I’m allergic to chiggers 🙂

I’d say get a footless pair of spanx you can get the longer length to keep your legs warm, I too can’t stand the look of an open toe with stockings but like the other Bees have said if you must wear them go for the seamless.

First off, I hate, hate, hate stockings but wear them when they’re needed. I will not be wearing them for my wedding tho because it’s in June and it will more than likely be really warm and I don’t want to be uncomfortable.

i wore strappy shoes and no stockings. it was actually supposed to be really cold so i brought some tights and ballets flats in case i wanted to change, because like many others i’m not a fan of open toed shoes and stockings. but i ended up not needed them and standing by the heaters all night anyway.

I’m wearing knee length spanx.  I’d never wear full length stockings with an open toed shoe.
