H! Ladies, Please help me whether to keep this wedding band or look for another one that can be closer to my e-ring. The space between quite bothers me since I have short fingers, It just doesn’t look right. Or is this something normal? The wedding band stand quite higher than my e-ring and the prong of my e-ring is the one that creates the distance. Is it also weird if the band looks bigger than e-ring? Any ideas on selecting bands too will help. But am not really fan of contoured bands. Please help! I want to be sure about my decision and take advantage of the 100days return/exchange policy. Thank you so much!!!
I’m having a hard time uploading the pics but I will surely upoad it.

Is there a way you could show us what you are talking about?
I have a gab between mine, but its not very big and it doesn’t bother me much.
If your’s bothers you a lot then fix it! 🙂

@sabik22: I would need to see a pic to help you out but it sounds like it’s really bugging you so you should change it! I love gaps on others but I do not like it for myself so it all comes down to personal preference.

I have a small gap between my rings, and I like it because you can still see the detail on the side of my e-ring and band. As far as the wedding band looking bigger than the e-ring, I’m not sure what you mean. Hopefully you can get some pictures uploaded and I can be more help then.

I have a gap, or will once I get to wear my wedding band. I really don’t mind it, and my fingers are pretty short too…

@pinkfrog: Your set is lovely! Sorry to threadjack, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen it before.

I think is all depends on the gap.. I have a contour band that is so minimal it’s barely noticeable but it does close the gap enough to hug my huge solitaire prongs but I also have a straight band that has a gap but it doesn’t bother me and I technically don’t consider it a gap really… But my e-ring is technically .. ” straight” across … I think for more curvy shaped e-rings and the halo designs its deff something you either love or hate .. Also if you love a band sometimes you can alter the e-ring without changing the overall look making the band you like sit flush

@pinkfrog, love your set!
I personally like gaps 🙂

I reall think it’s a personal preference but I’m not a fan of gaps myself and I also have short stubby fingers. I vote that you get another wedding ring.

Aww thanks ladies. I haven’t posted it much because that’s the only pic I have of it, but I’m in love.
I picked it because I can wear the wedding band alone if I want to, I’m thinking specifically of when I get pregnant and my hands swell up. The thing you should talk to your jeweler about if you’re going with a gap, though, especially if you choose a non-channel-set wedding band, is whether the stones will rub the prongs on your e-ring and eventually wear them down. You still need to make sure the rings with “fit” together that way if you intend to wear them both most of the time.

I have a gap! 🙂 I think it’s all about liking your ring. Don’t pick a ring to fit or match perfectly, but pick one that you want to wear and look at forever. 🙂

Depends on the size of the gap. I prefer bands that fit together more snugly, but sometimes gaps can look beautiful.
