Edited ( opps didn’t see this a year old, some one flipped it)

I am 23 and my Fi 28. I guess people consider me young too, no one believes I am engaged.

I know it is late but as long as you love it!

I don’t have morganite ring but I personally think anything over 3 in anything is too big but if you have a simple wedding band you should be able to pull it off. My e ring was 1.5 E VS1 ideal. My wedding band is a gift from my mom from Tiffany. It has 5x .23 diamonds on it. I love it, it is always the wedding band I wanted, but my mom said it was too much to wear it with my e ring. She actually paid for it as a gifts to us. I just ignored her, because I am wearing it not her. Good luck to you! pick the ring of your choice! If you love it why not? you can always upgrade when you guys earn more.  You guys are still young and rings can always change. Go with your taste now.

larousse:  I LOVE LOVE LOVE your ring.  Thank you so much for telling who made it.  I was reading through this thread praying someone would tell where this ring could be found.

I think morganite is beautiful, especially in a rose gold setting, but I’ve read some horror stories on these boards about bees with morganite e-rings who have severe durability issues in the long term. My personal opinion is that it’s better as a casual accessory than as part of a wedding set.

IncredibleShrinkingBride :  I just found this post and can’t figure out how to PM on here.  I love your ring and am wondering which etsy seller you went with? I’ve looked and looked and I’m undecided which seller to go with.  Thanks!

I think it is way too big for something that needs to last a lifetime, please do your research regarding wear and tear on these stones, it is very pretty but in a costume jewellery sort of way, i would recomend it as your RHR perhaps

I just got my morganite ring with rose gold band. I’m so happy with it! It’s so beautiful.  Everyone has been commenting how romantic it is – the rose gold goes so well with the blush pink of the stone. It is perfect for an engagement ring.

I would definitely recommend for an alternative to a diamond for an engagement ring. Plus it’s much less expensive

shelleym75 :  How has your morganite held up over the years?  I’m thinking about getting one and I’m a little nervous about it getting damaged since it’s not a hard as a diamond.  If possible can you upload some new pictures of your ring.  Do you wear it all day everyday?  thanks! xoxo

I love your ring! I just got engaged on Saturday and I also got a morganite ring which I’m sooo in love with. Unfortunately I took it back to Kay Jewelers to get sized smaller and they have to keep it for 2 weeks. I feel naked without it I can’t wait to wear it everyday. It’s a 7mm stone so a little over a carat and it had 3/4 tw carat white and chocolate diamonds on a rose gold band.

Charlotteee05 :  if you love the ring then go for it! Don’t worry about people who say you’re too young. I met my husband when I was fifteen and we were married when I was eighteen. We’ve benn married now for forty five years and have three grown up sons and seven grandchildren! I was a nurse all my working life and my DH was a policeman here in the UK. Everyone told us we were too young. I never had an engagement ring because we had no money way back then but for our twenty fifth (silver) wedding anniversary, my man bought me a Cartier platinum band and a 2.5 Cartier solitaire diamond. Follow your heart and I hope you are as happy as I have been all these years. I love the ring you’ve picked out. Ignore the miserable people in your world! It’s not about them!

9x7morganite radiant

9z7 Radiant Morganite with diamond halo by Sam n Sue.  It has a matching 9-3 diamond encrusted band to match.  Looks a lot smaller when I look at it in a pic as opposed to on my hand.  May need a bigger one 😉
