Oooohhhh so cool! I’ve never seen any salt and pepper look that color. Can’t wait to see how your project turns out. Do you have any inspiration pics?

Wow, that’s a gorgeous stone! I think yellow gold will set it off nicely, and the bezel is a lovely idea. Salt and peppers seem to look best in bezels in my opinion, something about the contrast between the smokey glow of the stone and the bright reflection of the metal.

@mollyjane79:  ooh I love it! Such a pretty colour! And I think it will look fab in the type of setting you posted, love the E/W orientation. And Def agree with a pp that YG would work well for that colour.

@mollyjane79:  Yes!!!! That’s going to look so cool! It’s funny how my tastes have changed. I never liked pears and within the last year I’ve grown to really appreciate how beautiful they are. I need an excuse to get one lol…

I had a greyish salt and pepper diamond ring made in this style and love it :). It is one of my favorites for stacking but also looks good alone. The only downside is that depending on the light it doesn’t always photograph well — can just look kind of like a blur. The red in the stones you picked looks awesome.

@mollyjane79:  thank you! I was going back and forth over whether to go EW or NS…and the jeweler actually made the first set of CADS with EW before I changed my mind because my finger is so big! I am of course still considering making another in EW…because I still think it would look awesome!

I had this made late last year and it did end up being like 550 or something. I wanted mine to be all rose gold since it was being made as part of a matched stack, but I think a two tone will look great and will definitely be more price friendly.

Here is the stack that was all made at the same time:

@mollyjane79:  ๐Ÿ˜Š thanks for liking it…I don’t wear a lot of really big jewelry and in these pics this set can look like kind of a lot, but irl it is cool and not over the top. The blue stones are zircons. I totally should have done sapphires for durability, but had these zircons and loved the color.. The white diamonds were from an old cluster ring from the 80s, and not the best quality. If you end up looking for melee, I have bought some s&p melee from india on etsy and it ended up being quite sparkly. Having a mixed metal (silver and yellow gold) ring made with it now!
