is anyone else having trouble deciding their music for the ceremony or reception or both like me!??!?
i think we have finally got a few picks for the ceremony – we are thinking about playing Magic by Colbie Cailliett for the wedding party processional. Then our good friend will play either Love will Keep Us Alive (The Eagles), Can you Feel the love tonight (Lion King version), or Stand by Me on the guitar as I walk down the isle with my dad. Depends on what song our friend feels most comfortable playing…
What songs are YOU using at your ceremony?

I know exactly which songs I want to use for the pre-ceremony music, the processional, etc, but we’re having issues with deciding how to play it.
We can either just play the songs on iPod and have a cousin monitor it, or we can hire a girl who learns songs and plays acoustic versions ($150), or we can see if a friend can learn/play songs and do the acoustic thing. Haven’t heard back from the friend yet…
Here’s my list:
The Promise – Tracy Chapman
Beautiful Mess – Jason Mraz (Fiance sang this “for me” at a concert when we started dating)
Universe and U – KT Tunstall
Marry Me – Train
Waiting on You – KingBilly (a band in Nashville…an amazing song that has never been released)
Forever – Ben Harper
Just By Being You – Steel Magnolia (will be our first dance song)
Processional: Falling Slowly – Glen Hansard
Recessional: Keep on Loving You – Steel Magnolia
Receiving Line: Lucky – Jason Mraz/Colbie
