Not at all, in fact it’s very common right now. It can be pricey though.

Nope!  Well, I would hope you still get real hair as extensions- it looks the best- but I have 2 sets of extensions and wore them at my wedding, partly to make it longer, but I have thin hair, too, and I wanted it fuller.  It’ll make a hige difference for the better.  This is my hair with extensions in (from the back):

It all depends how you style it. Make sure to hire a pro hair stylist.

I’m totaly using extensions and doing my own hair though. Hope it looks ok 🙂

I am totally planning on using extensions for my wedding! I have straight/thin hair and want to ‘amp’ it up a little. Go for it!

I got extensions because I too was blessed with fine hair. I need more volume for the updo I want. I spent about $130 for real hair ones at Sallys.

The Remy Euro extensions that are clip ins from sally beautys are marvelous. mine were about $120 but ive already had them for over a year. i have SUPER thin hair (and slow growing) and i throw them in a lot during the summer to just make a side braid or ill put them in for a special event if i want to curl them. i had the same ones in from the pics above here..

I think the expensive ones (like the ones celebrities use/do) look really good and very natural. However, I’ve seen some on “regular people” and you can totally tell they are wearing extensions as the shade/tones are all off and you can tell where their hair ends and the fake hair begins. I think maybe in an updo, it is less obvious since it’s all bunched up together but if you are wearing it down, you can usually tell when the hair color is a little off and the general hair quality is a little different when the extensions are of the cheaper, lower quality variety.

I had clip-ins for my long ponytail at our wedding.  The guests knew damn well my hair wasn’t that long, but I’ve gotten SO many compliments on my hair that day 🙂  They were exactly what I needed to feel like a gorgeous bride on my day.  Naturally, my hair is thin and shoulder-length.

I’m wearing extensions for mine. I’ve done both fusions (for more permanent) and clip in but haven’t decided which kind for the wedding yet.

My sister used them, clip on ones, she’s using them again for my wedding….they’re great. I advocate them!
